Today we had a travel day to Puebla with Fernando, Edu, and Tete. Our first stop after a two hour drive was the pyramid at Cholula. The largest pyramid (by volume) in the world; it is topped by a beautiful Spanish church built in the 1500's.
Next we visited the historical center of the nearby City of Puebla. Another amazing, beautiful location with a beautiful cathedral surrounded by well kept colonial buildings. We ate a wonderful meal in a restaurant at the zocalo.
A short drive to Loreto fort where the Mexican army beat the French in the 1800's gave us a great view of Puebla (and time for coffee/hot chocolate) before heading back to Mexico City.
Blogger is still having problems so my Chromebook isn't connecting so I will try again to post photos separate to this entry.
