We were picked up in an 8 seat passenger van and only the two of us were in for the 2 1/2 hour trip to the coast.
We arrived in plenty of time so I was able to go get a swim suit (which I forgot to bring).
The boat tender picked up about 14 of us around noon and we went across the bay, arriving at our boat 35 minutes later.
We motored in the tour boat for about an hour during which time we had a great buffet style lunch and were given instructions for our agenda. The weather was hit or miss.
Our cabin is on the lower deck closest to the front in this photo. The dining area is immediately above us.
At about 2;45 PM we arrived at our first activity which was getting on a rowed boat and eventually being taken to a cave like tunnel which we went through to the other side. The weather by then had smartened up so I got some good photos.
Truly spectacular!
Upon return to the boat, which was anchored waiting for us, we were able to go swimming. I went in for a bit, Caro longer. The water was a bit warmer than the lake at its warmest.
We were also joined by a large group who were on a two night trip and they had been a day trip to local villages (bicycling etc) while the boat came back to get those of us on a one nighter
We pulled anchor after that and were on our way to join a couple dozen of the same style boats in a large anchorage that was protected from weather. The sea was like glass there.
Supper was a set menu and we sat with an Aussie woman and her two kids (one about 11 and the other about 19). We had good conversations with them.
After supper we sat outside enjoying the view and the sunset. Magnificent!!!
An amazing day for sure!
