Back to Hanoi

A couple of photos taken last night.

Today was another one of those spectacular days (and as I write this at 5 PM the day is not over yet).

We both had a very restful sleep waking up around 6AM.

Caro went to tai chi at 0630 (while I did not!).

Breakfast was at 7 o’clock and after that it was kayak time. We went out for a bit. Going out on the kayak was a last minute thing and we didn’t have our swim suits on so we got a bit wet (but not too bad!).

Our cruise director “Jimmy”  took this photo of us (and the row boat one yesterday) and sent it to us on What’s App.

With that completed we raised anchor and together with at least a dozen other ships we headed back where we started from yesterday.

As we motored back to our original tour boat pick up spot we were fed a wonderful brunch which plates coming one after another. Again, wonderful food.

By noon we had transferred from the tour boat to the tender for the 35 minute ride across to the marina.

Heading back to Hanoi we were on a 22 passenger van which was full. Caro and I were the last to get off.

What a wonderful trip that was.

The hotel had a new room for us and they were pleased to see us.

While I was catching up on the blog Caro went out get some street food. It was yummy (not sure what it was exactly but it was good tasting).

Tonight I imagine we will walk around the area dodging motorbikes etc just seeing more of this area.
