Today was not quite as nice as other days as it was windy and overcast for much of the time. Last night there was a very loud party nearby. I am not sure what time it quieted down but at some point it did.
In the morning Caro noticed a large whale relatively close to us. I managed to see it a few minutes later. Nice!
I did another five km walk while the farthest Caro got today was Oxxo. Her foot is getting better but I can't see her doing any running for a least a week.
I noticed that our Brim MasterCard bill from Soriano's has finally been posted. The reason I got this card was the transaction fees for overseas were supposedly MUCH lower than other cards. Sure enough this proved correct. Our exchange rate was 16.03 pesos to the dollar (official exchange rate is 16.17). Our other credit cards all have a 2.5% exchange fee plus a lousy exchange rate so I am super impressed!
Our cleaning lady came today. Last time we were here ( in early 2020) we didn't get a cleaning service but this time it was included as part of our deal. The lady gave the apartment a thorough cleaning over three hours. We were very impressed with her work. The only drawback is we had to be out of the place while she did her thing.
Caro suggested it was a good day to set up a beach umbrella and that is what we did.
We sat out there for quite a while. Caro usually reads and I spend my time listening to podcasts
Tonight we bought our meal from the beach restaurant. Very tasty.
Caro also saw a whale breach. Wish I would have seen that!
I will be looking for something new to stream on the TV tonight.
