We had a quiet day today.
Caro continues to get better after her mishap yesterday, and I think it will be only a few days until we can get doing some shopping etc.
Covid has hit hard in Mexico so we are being careful. Oxxo requires masks and it seems to be the norm inside all shops so that makes us feel better.
I walked about a kilometre to the pastry store to pick up something for Caro and surprise her (I am nice that way!) but found it was closed so I had to make do with a purchase from Oxxo (junk food).
The afternoon was spent reading,watching TV, being on line etc. I did make a special trip to Oxxo to buy Caro some Squirt pop and vodka. Oxxo (being a convenience store) has high priced booze but it is hard to whine when a 750 ml bottle of Absolute vodka costs only $18.50. I will be sure to double check this price when we get to Soriano's for a "big" store grocery purchases.
We ordered supper from the beach restaurant again. I had shrimp quesadillas (love,love ,love them) while Caro ordered a shrimp and oyster cocktail (only "OK" in her books). Can't complain too much at $22.50 with tip.
It is windy tonight and we did not have a spectacular sunset. As I write this at 7 PM there is rapidly fading light. I am out on the veranda enjoying a warm breeze with the lights of the old part of Manzanillo (the cruise port ) shining brightly across the bay from us.
Life is good! Another wonderful day
