After a fitful night of sleep we enjoyed the continental breakfast again before checking out.
We used the Tube to get us from Victoria to King's Cross railway station. We arrived in plenty of time to get our 0930 train. At 1415 hours we arrived in Edinburgh. The trip up had been great with some wonderful city scapes (especially Durham and Newcastle). Also we were right beside the ocean for part of the trip.
We made our way up to our hotel (for the next four nights) and were extremely pleased with our room ( about three times the size of the London one). A beautiful place right below Calton Hill.
We were off exploring the Royal Mile soon after. What an amazing city!!!
We also explored St.Giles cathedral. It is one of the prettiest we have ever seen.
