Caro was feeling slightly better so both of us were able to take the city tour. It was very interesting and while I don't mind churches I don't have much use for discussions on church paintings which seemed important to our guide. One interesting thing was the altar of one of the churches was covered in 1.2 tons of silver. This area has had alot of gold and silver mined over the years.
For me the best place we went to was the Inca ruins of Saqsayhuaman (pronounced in english jokingly as "sexy woman ").Here are located the large rocks (90-110 tons each) that I have seen in photos before and which I will attach to this entry.
Once returning to the city center we ate a great supper. Caro was able to eat a bit of chicken soup while I had Peruvian style steak. Delicious for both of us. Caro is still not 100% but is better. We plan on another very early night as the more sleep Caro gets the better she will get.
