At Heathrow

Let the gong show begin!

Our flight was 30 minutes late leaving Edmonton and wasn't full.We scored an emergency door exit row and thought we hit the jackpot for legroom but NOOO!  The window seat was freezing due to the door Brrrr.

We had to circle north of the Heathrow for about 30 minutes making us 1 hour late.

For those uninitiated about Heathrow  (us!)we followed the crowd walking a hellava long way to catch the bus to Terminal 5  ( we were at T2) and waited,and waited,and waited before we got through security at T5. After that we headed down to the departure area  only to find that British Air was delayed on many flights including ours.  Right now we are scheduled to leave in 90 minutes (4PM) and we are still not sure of our gate (and there are 3 sections to this terminal and require bus transportation for two of them)

And now, especially for Shiela B if you are reading this, "Mein Gott"  we are tired !

It looks like will will get to our hotel in Copenhagen just in time for a late supper and straight to bed as we have a bicycle tour booked tomorrow at 10.30 AM.
